| Bred, Accoyo's Oro | |
Oro is a spectacular full Accoyo production female. Oro’s crimp is so well defined and consistent, not to mention extremely dense. Her first offspring born on our farm sold for a well-deserved $65,000. Oro's conformation still makes her stand out from the rest. Her back and rear legs are very straight and her bite is correct. Oro is a very solid and strong animal. Her rear legs are very muscular, and she has a solid neck, all the way up to her great “square-shaped” head. Oro will be bred in the spring to Accoyo Enterprise for a spring 2011 cria. We have no doubt that this will be a stunning match. With his fineness, high frequency crimp and the outstanding crimp that she maintains even at 13 years of age, the cria should be homerun. |
| Bred, AOV Accoyo Asia | |
Just imagine that Accoyo Felix, now deceased, is your grandsire along with Accoyo Royal Fawn; and that Accoyo Royal Avenger is your sire; and that your dam is the full sister to Accoyo Goldsmith. All these legends have made a huge impact in improving the North American herd. Such is the case of AOV Accoyo Asia. She was sired by SA Accoyo Royal Avenger, our LF multi-champion herdsire whom we co-own with Stachowski Alpacas and who has sired many blue ribbon offspring. Her dam, Accoyo Freesia, is one of our densest females who has produced some of the most outstanding offspring born on our farm. Asia has a sweet, curious personality and enjoys being around people. She is conformationally correct with fiber that is very bright and is developing nice crimp. Asia is currently bred to Prestige, our multi-champion full Accoyo Pachacuti son. He will complement her density and has always added tremendous crimp to his offspring. There's a whole lot of blue in Asia's background. Chances are with this union to Prestige, that cria will soon have lots of blue in its background, also! |
| Bred, AOV Accoyo Limoges | |
Accoyo Limoges is the offspring of our multi-champion Pachacuti son, Accoyo Prestige, and our Royal Fawn daughter, China Accoyo Royale. China has been a consistent producer who each year, for the last seven years, has successfully delivered seven females. Let's hope China can pass that tradition on, along with her desirable maternal skills and ample milk! Limoges is a solid female with strong conformation and a correct bite. Her fiber is fine as confirmed by her histogram that was done following our shearing in April. Take a look in her topknot and you will find deep, distinct crimp; crimp that doesn't stop until you reach the end of her tail. Limoges has been bred this spring to our MF full Accoyo herdsire, Accoyo America Enterprise. This young male, at the age of 21.5 months, had a histogram that would be impressive for a white male--AFD 19.5; SD 3.6; CV 18.7 and 0.6% greater than 30--even more impressive for a medium fawn! We feel certain that this pairing should produce an outstanding cria, quite possibly with color based on his color and the color in her background. |
| Bred, Bravado's Accoyo Penelope | |
Square and nicely proportioned, with perfectly straight legs and a correct bite, this sweet-natured female would be an asset to any breeding program. Her fiber is fine, with an AFD of 18.2, with plenty of brightness and tight crimp with broad independent staples. Penny has been bred to our full Accoyo MF herdsire, Enterprise, for a fall 2010 offspring. We selected Enterprise, naturally, because of his color genetics and because he has great density AND fineness with a very low percentage of fibers of 30 micron (0.6%). The results should be amazing! She sells with an additional breeding to any of our full Accoyo herdsires following the birth of her 2010 cria. |
| Bred, HDF Accoyo Chiffawn | |
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. And, she produces color. Her 2005 male cria sired by Leon, was a highly sought after MEDIUM FAWN full Accoyo who is now one of the main herdsires at Hiben Hollow Alpacas. Chiffawn has everything going for her. Her conformation is great, her bite is correct and she is very approachable. She would be a wonderful asset to any breeding program looking for a high-end alpaca. We have bred her to our amazing MF full Accoyo herdsire Enterprise for a fall 2011 offspring. I get tingly just thinking of what this female is capable of producing; especially when bred to such a fine male. |
| Bred, HDF Accoyo Freesia | |
Freesia is the full sister to Accoyo Goldsmith, owned by Hiben Hollow Alpacas, and who is known as producing some very outstanding offspring. Better known as "Most Photogenic" at our farm, Freesia is the one that will first catch your eye. She has a commanding presence with a beautiful head, perfect conformation and extraordinary leg coverage. Her fiber is as dense as it can be, beginning at her topknot and stretching all the way down her legs to her toes. It has a wonderfully soft handle to it. She has been bred to our MF full Accoyo, Enterprise, for a fall 2010 cria. Now, that's going to be exciting--seeing what that match produces. |
| Bred, HDF Accoyo Lily | |
Accoyo Lily is a cornerstone of our foundation herd. Her traits are all positive--she catches on one breeding, she births easily, has plenty of milk, is a watchful mom but not nervous AND produces some very outstanding cria. Lily, daughter of Accoyo Leon, had been bred to Accoyo Prestige for a fall 2009 cria--a gorgeous curly, curly female with a brown spot by her tail, indicating that the brown color gene is present. Her previous two males, sired by Royal Avenger, have been phenotypically georgous with very large bone, full-fibered heads and tremendous density; all on correct frames. She hasn't let us down yet! Now it's time to really push the color in her background. We have bred her for a fall 2010 cria to our MF full Accoyo herdsire, Enterprise. We will be very eager to see the outcome of that match. |
| Bred, HDF Accoyo Reese | |
A Royal Fawn daughter with beautiful conformation and excellent coverage, this female is correct in every way. Plus, she has a wonderful, quiet temperament which makes her a pleasure to work with. She has been bred to our MF full Accoyo, Enterprise, for a fall 2010 cria. The anticipation is killing me! Both have delightful temperaments, and the combination of their fleece characteristics should produce a cria with EXTREME density, tight crimp, soft handle with next-to-no-medullation and more than likely with color. Now do you see what I mean about anticipation! |
| Bred, Maple Brook (Accoyo) Shabu | |
This lovely full Accoyo has great presence and is covered with ultra-fine fleece. Her sire is Maple Brook's multi-champion Accoyo Bolivar who is a Vengador son. Her dam, Accoyo Angelique, is a daughter of Accoyo Godfather, a relatively rare bloodline in this country. During a visit with a customer and his consultant, we had the consultant take a look at Shabu's fleece. She could barely contain her excitement when she took a look at the "matchstick bundles" in this little girl's fleece that go all the way down to her belly button. We are excited about her fall breeding to Snowmass White Gold who is a full Accoyo Legacy son. Her previous two cria have been nothing but outstanding so we can only imagine what this pairing will bring. |
| Bred, MFG China Accoyo Royale | |
This full Accoyo female was a wonderful producer of a number of Mary's Alpaca's show string alpacas. Her cria from 2006 sold before she was even weaned, her 2007 cria sold shortly after weaning and her 2008 cria was out of this world. She carries the genes for COLOR from her father, Get of Sire champ Royal Fawn. Full bodied, dense bone, dense fleece. Accoyo perfection. China has been bred this spring to our MF full Accoyo, Enterprise, for a spring 2011 cria. We are dying to see what that combination produces; I'm betting on color, though. |
| Bred, MH (Accoyo) Veronia | |
Veronia, a full Accoyo El Nino daughter, is a nice and square female with deeply crimped, bold fiber and plenty of density. Her 2007 male cria, Accoyo Andante', is a light fawn beauty with the brightest fiber we have ever seen. His crimp is very bundled with very high curvature to it. To that end, he has received a blue ribbon in every show he's been entered in--four to date. So, you can see she produces exceptional quality offspring with amazing fiber. She has been bred to Accoyo Godfather for a fall 2010 offspring. Based on what she has produced in the past, and with this breeding to Godfather, we have no problem wishing for a male. She is an excellent mother with ample milk for her cria. |
| Herdsire, HDF Accoyo Mozart | |
We are thrilled to be able to add this full Accoyo male to our breeding program. No doubt, this full Accoyo El Moustachio son will take your breeding program to the next level. Mozart is the epitome of a full Accoyo macho. He is large boned with a beautiful head, wonderfully crimpy, soft-handled fiber and EXTREME density. His density was validated by his score of 19.75 out of a possible 20 in the MAPACA fleece competition in April 2005 where he was awarded a first place. For those seeking the possibility of color, he has a brown spot on his left side that increases the chances that he will produce color. For those of you who realize the importance of testicular size in determining the reproductive life of his female offspring, our vet, who is a camelid specialist, remarked that, "Mozart has the largest testicular mass of any male I've ever seen". His first round of offspring have already hit the ground. They appear to be phenominal in every respect. Co-owned with Heart's Desire Farm. |
| Herdsire, NWA, LTD Accoyo Prestige | |
This wonderful full Accoyo male has had a very illustrious career in the showring, having won numerous blue ribbons along with color championships and a reserve color championship. All this was accomplished in very large classes against some of the most highly recognized herdsires in the country. It's now time for him to pass on those wonderful genes to his offspring. The cria that he has already produced are a great representation of what this male can produce. Each offspring possesses extreme crimpiness along with a very soft hand on perfectly conformed frames. This male was selected by us not only for his very obvious phenotypcial attributes and his ability to pass on his best traits but also because the Pachacuti line is not common in the East Coast thus allowing us to breed him to all of our full Accoyo females who are totally unrelated to this line. PROUDLY CO-OWNED WITH HEART'S DESIRE FARM. |
| Herdsire, SA Accoyo Royal Avenger | |
It was a difficult decision but it's one we needed to make. We have decided to sell our interest in Royal Avenger. He has produced some outstanding offspring for us and is a wonderful male with a delightful temperament. The only problem is that we now have too many that are related to Royal Fawn; we are at the point where we need to introduce some new genetics into our herd. You've seen him and you've seen his offspring in the show ring. They are truly remarkable. There's no doubt--he will improve your herd. Royal Avenger has proven to be the next generation of Accoyo excellence to sire a clan of superior offspring. His sire, Royal Fawn, is a producer of champions and one of the highest selling herdsires in history. His dam, Mariah, is also a producer of many ribbon winners. Avenger’s show record is noteworthy with nine blue ribbons, a reserve color champion and two color championships. His offspring have demonstrated that they have what it takes to be champions in the showring, compiling win after win against tough competition. At the age of 10, Avenger maintains a fleece that is extremely dense with bundles and crimp. His coverage is phenomenal from his full bonnet down his strong-boned legs. As if that were not enough accolades, he is a confident breeder with a gentle temperament. Whether you're looking for fine fiber qualities or color, you can achieve both. He has produced offspring from white, to fawn, to brown, to true black, and even grey. The possibilities are limitless. Avenger is on the path already to becoming one of the most recognized herdsires in North America and will continue to breed success. This reduced drive-by breeding fee is good from April 2010 through June 2010. BREEDINGS TO ROYAL AVENGER ARE RESERVED FOR FULL ACCOYO FEMALES PURCHASED FROM ACCOYOS OF VIRGINIA AND PURCHASED OUTSIDE BREEDINGS. |
| Junior Herdsire, AOV Accoyo Benelli | |
With males as spectacular as this one, his dam can keep on having males--we certainly don't mind one bit. Bright and curly with a long staple are apparent right off the bat. I have just looked him over and he will be a "definite" on our show string. His fiber, post shearing, is coming in beautifully, with gorgeous crimp that is consistent from his topknot, down his neck throughout his blanket and into his tail. I look for this male to do extremely well in the show ring. All this in addition to fineness, which can be verified by his histogram done following our April shearing. Benelli hails from exceptional genetics that can be traced back to the imports Pachacuti and Royal Fawn. We are selling half interest in him with very liberal terms. We feel that he has the ability to pass on some highly desirable characteristics and for that reason would like to retain half interest in him. |
| Junior Herdsire, AOV Accoyo Eagle's Summit | |
Talk about layers and layers of outstanding genetics. There's Caligula, Royal Fawn, Felix, Vengador and the Godfather. Summit is a nice square male with a very pleasing presence and a wonderful, gentle disposition. He's correct in every way--bite, legs and topline and is endowed with large testicles--no, let's make that HUGE testicles! His fiber is consistent from shoulder to rump and topline to belly and has a very silky handle to it along with narrow bundling. Thus far, he's been in two alpaca shows and has ribboned in both. Both shows were level four shows and I don't have to mention the steep competition in the white classes! This boy is ready to go to work. Breed him to your females and see the improvement he generates in your herd. |
| Junior Herdsire, AOV Accoyo Lionel | |
Accoyos are estimated to be only 2% of the alpaca population in the United States. This is a tremendous opportunity to add proven, outstanding Accoyo genetics to your herd. We already have these genetics in use on our farm and would like to see other farms benefit from them. These males have correct bites, great conformation and pleasant temperaments. All are healthy, have been well cared for and are up-to-date on all vaccines and shots--none have health issues. This male is phenotypically gorgeous. Beautiful head, excellent coverage and tree trunk legs full of fiber. |
| Junior Herdsire, AOV Accoyo Royal Accolade | |
Royal's dam is one of the finest on our farm, having won blues in shows that we entered her in. Shabu has beautiful fleece with matchstick bundling and seems to have made quite a contribution to this youngster's fleece already. He's developing nicely and has wonderful conformation and a correct bite along with beautifully consistent crimpy fiber. We have shown him in numerous shows and he has placed in the all that he was entered in. He should be ready to breed and would certainly infuse some exciting genetics into your herd--Royal Fawn, Bolivar, Vengador and Godfather. Now that's a power-packed pedigree. We are selling half interest in him with very liberal terms. We feel that he has the ability to pass on some highly desirable characteristics and for that reason would like to retain half interest in him. |
| Junior Herdsire, AOV Accoyo Taser | |
What do you name a young male that is simply stunning? TASER seemed to be the appropriate choice. He is a male like none other. From the time his fiber dried off, he was not curly, but kinky curly. His dam is our multi-champion female sired by Royal Avenger. His sire, Accoyo Prestige, is also a multi-champion and a Pachacuti son. Taser has been highly scrutinized and appears to be flawless. He is very refined and regal with correct conformation and a correct bite. At his first show, which was only eight alpacas shy of a Level V show, the judge remarked about his highly organized and fine fleece along with his density and the consistency that carried throughout his fleece. Taser should be ready to breed now. Breed him to your females and see your herd improve. |
| Junior Herdsire, AOV Peruvian Pyro | |
Pyro is shaping up to be one fine-looking male. He has solid bone, a perfect bite and very dense and soft handling fleece, all on a correct frame. Pyro was sired by our multi-champion full Accoyo herdsire, Prestige, who puts the crimp and brightness on his offspring--from the day they are born. His dam, Athena, who is 7/8 Accoyo, is out of one of Brookhollow Farm's finest full Accoyo females. He has grown faster than any other male in his group and whenever we do fecals, his are always negative. Strong and healthy--that's how we like them! |
| Junior Herdsire, Vengador's Accoyo Dasher | |
What a look this Vengador son has! He represents the ideal alpaca with his square frame, straight legs, beautiful full fibered head with the "v" at his cheeks. His fiber is extremely soft with long staple length and tremendous density. Proudly co-owned with Classic Accoyos. |
| Maiden, AOV Accoyo Chamonix | |
Fineness—isn’t that what every breeder is striving to achieve in their breeding program? It certainly has been the primary focus of our breeding program since becoming breeders in 2000. Chamonix, with a micron of 14.4 at 10.5 months of age, is positive proof that our breeding decisions are sound and that they are producing the results we are seeking. This full Accoyo maiden is the result of breeding her LF dam, an El Moustachio daughter, to our LF herdsire, Royal Avenger, whom we co-own with Stachowski Alpacas. This beauty is conformationally correct with a correct bite and crimpy, ever-so-soft fiber. She has a curious personality and pleasant temperament. Chamonix will be ready to breed this spring. We are thrilled to be able to offer her maiden breeding to our MF full Accoyo herdsire, Accoyo America Enterprise. This young male, at the age of 21.5 months, had a histogram that would be impressive for a white male--AFD 19.5; SD 3.6; CV 18.7 with only 0.6% greater than 30--even more impressive for a medium fawn! No surprise considering his sire, Accoyo Centurian, was the 2005 AOBA Nationals Fawn Color Champion. We feel certain that this pairing should produce an outstanding cria, quite possibly with color, based on his color and the color in her background. Chamonix is receiving quite a large number of hits on this website. It shouldn't be long before someone pulls the trigger and adds her to their herd. Don't be disappointed by missing out. |
| Maiden, AOV Accoyo Pristine | |
Sired by our multi-champion herdsire, Prestige, who, along with extreme fineness and high frequency fleece, consistantly produces offspring with fineness AND low SDs and CVs--all the ingredients for long-lasting fineness. Her dam, Shabu, has wonderfully fine fiber with matchstick bundling. Pristine should be ready to breed in the spring of 2010. We feel certain that this pairing should produce an outstanding cria, quite possibly one with color. |
